Tusculum listed in Golf World/Nike Golf DII Men's Poll

NEW YORK --- The Tusculum College men's golf team is receiving votes in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II Coaches' Poll. The Pioneers are receiving 23 total points and are one of four South Atlantic Conference schools listed in the poll.

Lynn is the new top ranked team in this week's poll, jumping two spots from No. 3. Barry is second, followed by West Florida, Chico State, Central Oklahoma, CSU-Stanislaus, Nova Southeastern, Abilene Christian, Western Washington and North Alabama to comprise the top-10.

Georgia Southwestern is 11th, followed by Sonoma State, CSU-Monteray Bay, Georgia College, USC Aiken, Wingate, UNC Pembroke, Carson-Newman, CU-Colorado Springs, Armstrong Atlantic State, Florida Southern, Barton, Columbus State, Central Missouri and Indianapolis to round out the poll.

Tusculum has wrapped up a very successful fall season as the Pioneers won the Anderson Invitational and followed with runner-up performances at the Honda Columbia Classic and the Tusculum Fall Classic. TC's worst showing came in its final fall event at the Lincoln Memorial Invitational, where the Pioneers finished fourth.

Tusculum returns to action on Feb. 6-7 as the Pioneers travel to Panama City, Fla. for the Outback Steakhouse Intercollegiate.
