Fullen ranked second in the country in par 3 scoring

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- Tusculum College junior Luke Fullen is ranked second in the nation in par 3 scoring according to the latest Golfstat Division II men's golf statistics.

Fullen, a native of Greeneville, Tenn., has posted a scoring average of 2.98 on the par 3 holes he has played this season. Only Matthew Malloure of Grand Valley State University has a better scoring average (2.92).

The Greeneville High School graduate is second on the team this season with his 75.33 scoring average for his 15 competitive rounds played this year. Fullen has recorded three top 20 performances, including two in the top 1-. His best finish this year came at the Tusculum Invitational where he carded consecutive rounds of 69 to finish third with 138 (-4). He tied for 10th place at the Tusculum Fall Classic and 12th at the Lincoln Memorial University Fall Invitational.

Tusculum returns to action on Monday as they compete at the South Atlantic Conference Championship in Etowah, N.C. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the Etowah Valley Golf Resort.
