Carroll is tied for 17th place with a two-day tally of
147, including Saturday's second round 76 at the 2008 Sea Trail
Intercollegiate. The Pioneers shaved eight shots off its first
round performance with Saturday's 298. TC is in 15th place with 604
in the NCAA Division I dominated field.
Murray State continues to lead the team competition with 578, 14
shots ahead of second place Belmont Abbey (592). USC Upstate is
third with 593, while Guilford and Tennessee Tech are tied for
fourth with 594. Host Elon is sixth with 597, followed by Wofford
(598), Stetson (598), Radford (599), Appalachian State (599),
Houston Baptist (599), Bethune-Cookman (601), James Madison (602),
UNC Pembroke (603), Tusculum, South Carolina State (617), High
Point (626) and Hampton (644).
Tusculum's Lawson George carded the low-round of
the day for the Pioneers with a one-under par 71 to post a two-day
153 and is tied for 54th with teammate Darren
Christie (78-75=153). Houston White is
tied for 59th with 154, while Jake Scheffers is
tied for 76th (79-79=158).
The third and final round will be played on Sunday.
