HARROGATE, Tenn. --- Cam Carden recorded 26 points, including seven 3-pointers to lead undefeated Lincoln Memorial University to a 64-47 South Atlantic Conference win over visiting Tusculum College Wednesday night at Tex Turner Arena in men's basketball action.

The No. 6 Railsplitters (19-0, 11-0 SAC) sweep the season series, while Tusculum falls to 9-12 overall and 6-5 in league play. It was also the Pioneers first SAC road loss this season, ending a string of four in a row to start a league campaign.

Tusculum senior Rob Troutman accounted for 17 points, including five 3-pointers, all coming in the first half. Sophomore Brett Williams finished with 16 points, four rebounds and went a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw stripe, while junior Justin Steigerwald led the Pioneers with five rebounds, five assists and four steals, to go along with his three points.

Tusculum vaulted out of the gate with an 8-2 run in the opening 2:48, including back-to-back treys by Troutman. Carden responded for the Railsplitters with five treys of his own in a span of 6:29 as LMU led 19-17 with 10:03 remaining before halftime. His final trey during that spurt sparked a 14-0 Lincoln Memorial run as it settled for a 36-24 lead at the intermission.

LMU erupted for an 18-7 run and led by as many as 24 points in the second half as the Railsplitters won its school record 19th in a row to open the season and remain as one of only two undefeated programs in the country (West Liberty).

Lincoln Memorial finished the game shooting 51.1 percent from the floor, including 14-of-23 in the first half (60.9%). Tusculum was held to 35.3 percent shooting and was out-scored in the paint by a 30-4 margin. Tusculum shot a sizzling 94.1 percent from the foul line, including 11-of-12 in the second half.

Tusculum will travel to Brevard College on Saturday for a 4 p.m. league tilt at Boshamer Gymnasium.
