INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College men's basketball team is listed in this week's NCAA Division II statistics.

The Pioneers (4-8, 1-1 SAC) are shooting a sizzling 76.7 percent from the free throw line, which is the best in the South Atlantic Conference and 11th in the country. In its last six contests, TC is shooting 78.1 percent (82-of-114) as a team from the foul line.

The Pioneers are also shooting 49.1 percent from the floor, which is the 35th-best field goal percentage in the nation. Defensively, Tusculum is limiting its opponents to only 64.2 points per game, which is the No. 2 scoring defense in the league and 45th in the land.

Tusculum returns to action on Wednesday as the Pioneers host 14th-ranked and undefeated Lincoln Memorial University (10-0, 2-0 SAC) for an 8 p.m. league tilt at Pioneer Arena. It will be the 156th recorded meeting in the one of the oldest collegiate basketball rivalries in Tennessee.
