Garret Miller is entering his second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Tusculum football program.  Miller will be responsible for coaching the TU tight ends.

Miller served the 2016 season at his alma mater Ashland University where he was the assistant wide receiver coach as the Eagles posted a 9-2 record.  While at the Ashland, Ohio school, he taught WR technique along with offensive and defensive concepts.  He assisted with the offensive game-planning, offensive quality control and film editing.  During the 2015-16 academic year, he also served as AU's assistant strength and conditioning coordinator and as the Eagles' assistant sports information director.

In the summer of 2016, he served as a football operations intern with the National Football League in New York where he worked with player engagement along with business strategy development and officiating.

He played two seasons as a wide receiver at Ashland as his teams combined for an impressive 19-3 record and an .864 winning percentage.

As a student, he also served as president of the Ashland University Business Club.

He graduated from Ashland in 2017 where he was a double major in sport management and business administration, doing all of this in a three-year span where he was a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic selection.
