GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College has
designated next Saturday's home football game with Wingate
University as Breast Cancer Awareness Day. The game kicks off at
2:30 p.m. from the Niswonger Sports Complex and Pioneer Field.
Tusculum will also be celebrating its annual Homecoming next
weekend.
The Pioneers encourage fans of Tusculum and Wingate to wear pink to
Saturday's game in recognition of October being National Breast
Cancer Awareness Month.
Representatives of the College will be collecting donations throughout Saturday's game for breast cancer research. Breast cancer survivors will be recognized during pre-game ceremonies.
The popular Pioneer Pete Tailgate will begin at noon outside the stadium.
