GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Calvin Britt hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass from Torrey Slaven with 55 seconds remaining to lead Team Black to a 22-19 win over Team White Monday afternoon in the Tusculum College Spring Football Game at the TC Indoor Practice Facility.

The Team Black defense fended off three passes to the end zone in the final 15 seconds to preserve the victory in the third spring scrimmage for the Pioneers.

Team White got on the board first on its opening possession of the game as running back Fred Jones plunged in from two yards out to take a 7-0 lead. Later in the quarter, Team White was driving, but Team Black's Luke Harris picked up a backward pass and returned the fumble 25 yards for the touchdown.

In a third down practice period where teams could earn points by either converting on a third down or stopping the offense on third down. Following this period, Team White outscored its opponents 12-8 to hold a 19-15 advantage.
