Littlejohn, a 5-11, 240-pound linebacker from Gaffney, S.C., recorded a career-high 17 tackles in Tusculum's 15-12 come-from-behind win over Mars Hill. Littlejohn tied a school single-game record with five tackles for loss (-18 yards), including a sack. With Tusculum trailing 12-9 in the fourth quarter, Littlejohn recovered a fumble, setting up TC's winning touchdown with eight minutes remaining in the game. The 17 tackles by the Gaffney High School product are the fifth-most ever posted by a Pioneer.
Gregory, a 6-2, 210-pound punter from Ooltewah, Tenn. averaged 42.4 yards on five punts as Tusculum completed an undefeated season at home with Saturday's win over the Lions. Three of his punts were inside the MHC 20-yard line, while two of those were for 50 yards. Gregory earns this honor for a fourth time this season and seventh occasion in his young Tusculum career.
Tusculum (6-4, 4-1 SAC) wraps up the regular season this Saturday when the Pioneers face nationally-ranked Carson-Newman at 1 p.m. from Burke-Tarr Stadium. The winner of the game will claim at least a share of the conference championship. After dropping its first three games, Tusculum has won five of its last six contests and is in a three-way tie for first place in the SAC with Carson-Newman and Catawba.
