WESTMONT, Ill. --- On the strength of its five-game winning streak, including Saturday's upset win over Catawba, the Tusculum football team is ranked No. 24 in this week's Football Gazette Division II Top 40 announced College officials Monday.

Tusculum (5-3, 3-0 in South Atlantic Conference) has rebounded from an 0-3 start and has won its last five games, scoring at least 30 points in each victory, including last week's 31-28 win over the No. 7 Catawba Indians.

Tusculum is one of five SAC teams listed in this week's Football Gazette Top 40 including No. 16 Carson-Newman, No. 21 Catawba, Tusculum, No. 25 Newberry and No. 40 Wingate.

Tusculum and Newberry will square off in an important conference tilt this Saturday night at 7 p.m. from Setzler Field in Newberry, S.C.
