GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- This weekend's three-game South Atlantic Conference baseball series between Tusculum University and Wingate University, originally schedule to take place at Pioneer Park, has been moved to Wingate due to the threat of rain throughout the weekend in the Greeneville area.
The three-game series will now be played at Ron Christopher Stadium on the Wingate, North Carolina campus. Per league policy, Tusculum will be the "home" team for all three games this weekend.
The series will begin on Friday night at 6 p.m. and will conclude with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
Wingate University will provide video and live stats for all three games.
Tusculum (15-10, 4-5 SAC) has won five of its last six games including Wednesday's 9-5 win over Embry-Riddle. Wingate (15-6, 7-2 SAC) is coming off a 4-1 home loss to No. 28 UNC Pembroke to snap the Bulldogs' five-game winning streak.
