GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College athletic department will be hosting the inaugural Pioneer 5K Fund Run on Saturday, October 1 on the Greeneville campus. The event will begin and end on the Tusculum campus and will start at 11 a.m. The event will coincide with Tusculum's Oct. 1 home football game against Brevard College, which kicks off at 1:30 p.m.
Cost of the race is $35 per runner prior to Sept. 23rd and $40 after Sept. 23rd. Registration fee includes a race t-shirt, goodie bag, lunch at the Pioneer Club Tailgate and one admission ticket to the Tusculum/Brevard football game.
Tusculum students may run in the race at a discounted rate of $15, which includes a race t-shirt, but not a game ticket or lunch (students are admitted free to the game with a Tusculum ID).
Day of the race registration begins at 10 a.m. near the main entrance of Pioneer Field.
All proceeds of the event will benefit the Tusculum Athletic Department.
