GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Isaac Ringley has signed a national of intent to attend Tusculum College and run cross country for the Pioneers announced TC head coach Suzanne Byrd.
Ringley, a native of Rogersville, Tenn., garnered All-Conference honors this past fall with Volunteer High School, where he was coached by Mike O'Neill. He posted a personal best 5K time of 17:29.
Ringley is still recuperating from a horrific car accident this past year, where he suffered numerous injuries, including a fractured neck, but is expected to be ready to compete this coming fall.
"We are excited to have Isaac on board. He has been through a tremendous ordeal and the characteristics he has shown are exactly what make him a great athlete," said Byrd. "He will make an impact on our men's team as we build on our success of last season."
Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference.
