GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Cory Ramsey has signed a
national letter of intent to attend Tusculum College and run cross
country for the Pioneers announced TC head coach Suzanne Byrd.
Ramsey, a native of Sevierville, Tenn., ran his prep career at
Sevier County High School where he was coached by Dan Hanlon. He
was a three-time All-Country selection (2010, 2011, 2012) and
finished 10th at the IMAC Conference Championship, earning him a
spot on the All-IMAC squad.
"We are excited to get Cory on board," said Byrd. "He will bring a strong work ethic and his upside potential is really high. We are looking for good things from him."
He has a 5,000-meter personal best time of 17:39 and also lettered on the Sevier County soccer team.
Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference.
