GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Ashley Gregg has signed a national letter of intent to attend Tusculum College and run cross country for the Pioneers announced TC head coach Suzanne Byrd.
Gregg, a native of Parrottsville, Tenn., is a four-year member of the Cocke County High School cross country and track teams. She served as cross country team captain in her junior and senior campaigns, where she competed in the high school meets at the Furman Invitational, Western Carolina Invitational, The Citadel Invitational and the Disney Classic. She has posted personal-best times of 24:14 (5,000m), 13:47 (3,200m) and 2:42 (800m).
"I love the fact that Ashley is an extremely hard worker and has potential to be a good college runner," said Byrd. "She will be very important to our Women's team as we rebuild moving forward."
Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of 10 colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
