
SAVANNAH, Ga. --- Taylor Emilee recorded 10
kills and seven digs to lead the Flagler College volleyball team to
a 3-0 non-conference win over Tusculum College Friday night. The
match was held at the Aquatics and Recreation Center on the campus
of Armstrong Atlantic State University.
The Saints (16-5) won the match by scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-17 as
Flagler wins its fourth consecutive match.
Tusculum freshman Megan Hasse paced the Pioneers (15-6) with seven kill and a .500 hitting percentage. Ashley Sarmiento added 22 assists and seven digs, while Taylor Boone and Natalie Gaudreau contributed seven and five kills, respectively.
Flagler's Crystal Niederriter and Dianna Craine accounted for eight kills apiece, while setter Olivia Snipes dished out a match-high 31 assists as the Saints complete the season-sweep over Tusculum.
Flagler finished the match with a team .276 hitting percentage, while limiting Tusculum to .126.
Tusculum will close out its stay in Savannah on Saturday when they face undefeated and 16th-ranked Armstrong for a 1 p.m. match at the ARC.
