Tusculum listed in NCAA Volleyball Statistics

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College volleyball team continues to be listed prominently in this week's NCAA Division II statistics.

The Pioneers (19-5, 13-2 in South Atlantic Conference) are ranked in four team categories, while three Tusculum players are listed individually.

Tusculum freshman Caitlyn Dean (Fort Wayne, Ind.) is second in the nation averaging 6.74 digs per set.

Sophomore middle hitter Alyssa Raterman (Urbana, Ohio) is 28th in the country with her .365 hitting percentage, while freshman setter Ashley Sarmiento (Dayton, Ohio) is 30th in the land in assists per set (10.23 apg).

As a team, Tusculum is third in the nation in digs per set (19.06 dps), 29th in won-loss percentage (.792), 48th in kills per set (12.92 kps) and 49th in assists per set (11.85 aps).

Tusculum returns home on Friday night when the Pioneers host Newberry College in a 7 p.m. South Atlantic Conference match at Pioneer Arena. It will be "Senior Night" as the College honors its lone senior, Allyson Ray (Hudson, Fla.).
