TEMPE, Ariz. --- Tusculum University is ranked 43rd in Division II women's tennis by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association this week, the ITA announced.
The Pioneers (9-5, 3-2 South Atlantic Conference) split two matches last week, defeating Lincoln Memorial 6-1 on Wednesday before dropping a 5-2 decision to Limestone on Saturday.
Tusculum is one of seven SAC teams in the rankings this week, joined by Wingate (15th), Lenoir-Rhyne (32nd), Newberry (36th), Limestone (38th), Catawba (46th) and Anderson (48th). Also ranked are Pioneer non-conference opponents North Georgia (4th), Charleston (45th) and Georgia College (47th).
The Pioneers will be home with Lenoir-Rhyne (11-2, 6-1 SAC) at the Nichols Tennis Complex on Friday at 1 p.m.
