TEMPE, Ariz. --- The Tusculum University women's tennis team is ranked 41st in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II national team rankings, the ITA announced Wednesday.

The Pioneers, who gained two spots from last week, have won three consecutive matches to improve their record to 6-3, including a 7-0 win over Shepherd in their only match last week on Sunday at Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Tusculum is one of four South Atlantic Conference teams in this week's rankings, joined by Newberry (23rd), Wingate (29th) and Anderson (42nd). Tusculum non-conference opponents who are ranked this week are North Georgia (4th), Georgia College (39th) and Charleston (43rd).

The Pioneers will wrap up their trip to Hilton Head on Thursday against Quincy, beginning at 9 a.m.
