TEMPE, Ariz. --- Tusculum University is 43rd in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II Women's Tennis team rankings.

The Pioneers (5-3) are 1-3 against teams currently ranked in the Top 50, owning a 5-2 win over 27th-ranked Newberry on Feb. 29 with losses to North Georgia (8th), Georgia College (37th) and Charleston (44th), each of which were ranked in the Top 20 at the time of the match.

Tusculum is one of four South Atlantic Conference teams in this week's top 50, along with Newberry, Anderson (42nd) and Wingate (47th).

The Pioneers will face their fifth ranked opponent of the spring on Saturday, March 9 when Tusculum plays the first of three matches at Hilton Head, South Carolina against 16th-ranked Tiffin at 10 a.m.
