HARROGATE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University won six of nine matches between singles and doubles on the second day of the Lincoln Memorial University Invitational on Saturday.

The Pioneers won four singles matches and added two victories in doubles against the host Railsplitters on the final day of the two-day event.

In singles play, Elodie Baechler rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, (10-5) win over Rosalie Carrier-Dulac, while Valentina Loretz posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over Adrianna Pellizarri. Ylva Frafjord Landa was a 6-7 (3-7), 6-1, (10-7) winner over Sophia Aray, and Johanna Selde beat Lucie Palud 3-6, 6-2 (10-7).

In doubles, Baechler and Loretz downed Carrier-Dulac and Pellizzari 6-4, with Landa and Selde beating LMU's Carla Ramonet and Paula Sanleon 7-5.

Tusculum will head to Sumter, South Carolina for the ITA Southeast Regional, which begins Friday and continues through Monday at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
