extend the Pioneer lead to 3-1.
On Friday, the 42nd-ranked Royals (10-3, 8-2 SAC) pulled within 3-2
with a victory at number-four singles, but Heffner gave the
Pioneers a 4-2 lead as she defeated Nassi 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 at flight
one. Funke came through with the decisive point at flight two as
she beat Gonzalez 7-5, 6-2, and Emily Waters earned the final point
