GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College
women's tennis team lost only three games on the day in the
Pioneers' 9-0 victory over visiting Bluefield State College Sunday
afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex. Tusculum improves to 2-0
on the young season, while the Lady Blues fall to 1-5.
The Pioneers swept all three doubles matches, including an 8-0 pro
set win by the No. 2 doubles pairing of Taylor Patterson and Megan
Buckmaster over BSC's Dominique Sanders and Megan Meck.
In singles play, TC got straight set victories by Katelyn Doss, Courtney Conley, Kristen Keefer, Katie Hills, Patterson and Buckmaster.
Tusculum wraps up its fall schedule with the match. TC will return to action Feb. 12 as the Pioneers travel to Lander for a 1 p.m. match in Greenwood, S.C.
