ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum University sophomore forward Sydney Grant has been selected second-team All-South Atlantic Conference in women's soccer for the 2023 season, the SAC office announced Wednesday. The conference's 12 head coaches voted on the award winners.

Grant, a preseason second-team All-SAC pick, led the Pioneers with four goals and 11 points and shared the team lead with three assists for the Pioneers. Grant also led the team in shot attempts (27), shots on goal (16) and game-winning goals (two) as the Pioneers ninth in the SAC with a 2-7-2 conference record.

The Schaumburg, Illinois native had two goals and three assists in 11 conference matches, including a goal and an assist in wins over Mars Hill (2-0 on Sept. 20) and Limestone (2-1 on Oct. 7). She was fourth on the team with 1,209 minutes played, and played in all 90 minutes five times.

In 32 career matches (all starts), Grant has nine goals and six assists for 24 points, along with three game-winning goals.
