GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Adriana Netskos and Alexis Roessler scored in the final four minutes to erase a two-goal deficit and lift Tusculum University into a 3-3 draw with Emory & Henry College in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer Wednesday evening at Pioneer Field.

The Pioneers (2-7-2, 2-5-1 SAC) seemed headed to a loss after Madie Beale scored with 4:05 left to extend the Wasps' lead to 3-1. However, Netskos scored her first goal of the season with 3:26 left to pull the Pioneers within 3-2, then Roessler scored her first with 39 seconds left to level the score.

Olivia Haynes and Karlijn Keuters also scored goals for the Wasps (2-5-4, 0-4-2 SAC), who were seeking their first SAC victory in their second season as a conference member. Brynn Stokes added a goal for the Pioneers, who were outshot 18-15 by the Wasps in the match.

Tusculum had the first shot on goal in the third minute, but an attempt from Sydney Grant was smothered by Emory & Henry keeper Ava Puskas. The Wasps' first shot came in the eighth minute as an attempt from the wing by Maddie Simmons was grabbed by Pioneer keeper Grayson Patterson.

The Wasps would go up 1-0 at 10:47 as a corner kick caromed off a Tusculum head to Keuters at the top of the box, and she rifled a shot that beat the defense for her third goal of the season.

Tusculum leveled the scored at 13:09 as a free kick from 25 yards from Joey Garrett was redirected by Stokes on the run for her second goal of the year.

In the 24th minute, Simmons had a run down the right side and cut toward the goal, but her shot toward the short-side top corner was pulled in by Patterson. In the 30th minute, Marin Wills had back-to-back opportunities from close range, with Puskas making the first save and the rebound attempt going wide.

Patterson made a kneeling save on an attempt from Beale in the 33rd minute, after Puskas stopped a bouncing attempt from the Pioneers' Macy Vermillion in the 30th minute.

In the second half, Puskas was tested early as she stopped a header from Tanna Bookhamer in the 51st minute. Patterson would be equal to a try from the top of the box by Haynes in the 54th minute, batting the effort over the crossbar.

Emory & Henry would regain the lead at 2-1 at 61:49 as a corner kick by Lucy Dunlop was headed in by Haynes for her second goal of the season.

The Wasps nearly took a 3-1 lead in the 67th minute, but a shot from Hana Kirsch bounced over Patterson and off the crossbar.

The two-goal lead would be found at 85:55 as a cross from Adrienne Harris was played in the box by Beale, who turned and shot past Patterson for her first goal of the season and a 3-1 Wasps lead.

The Pioneers answered just 39 seconds later as a free kick from just inside midfield by Trystan Wepking went off the head of the Wasps' Dylan Copeland in the box and directly to Netskos, who volleyed home her first goal of the season at 86:34 to pull the Pioneers within 3-2.

With a minute to go, Tusculum earned a corner kick that was played back out to Garrett in the corner. She moved around an oncoming defender and served a pass that was headed in by Roessler for the equalizer at 89:21.

Patterson finished the match with six saves for the Pioneers, while Puskas had five stops for the Wasps. Emory & Henry had an 11-5 edge in corner kicks, and was called for 14 fouls to four for the Pioneers.

Tusculum will visit Newberry for a key SAC match on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Wolves (4-8-1, 1-5-1 SAC) lost 2-1 to Thomas More in a non-conference match on Wednesday.
