For the fourth time in her career, Tusculum College forward
Tramicka James is a member of the Daktronics NCAA Division II
All-Southeast Region Women's Soccer team, which was announced on
Monday.
James was a second-team selection after finishing her senior season
with 11 goals and seven assists for 29 points in 18 matches for the
Pioneers, who finished 12-3-3 and advanced to the Food Lion South
Atlantic Conference semifinals.
The Wilson, N.C. native finished the season ranked third in the SAC
in goals, tied for third in assists and tied for second in points
to earn first-team All-Conference recognition. James' average of
1.61 points per match ranks her 32nd in the latest NCAA Division II
rankings, while her five game-winning goals are tied for 18th
nationally.
James is the only player in program history to earn Daktronics
All-Region status four times in a career. She was a first-team
selection in both 2010 and 2011 and was a second-team choice in
2009.
James, also a four-time All-SAC honoree, wrapped up her Pioneer
career ranked third in school history with 54 goals, sixth with 23
assists and third with 131 points.
The Daktronics NCAA Division II all-Southeast Region Teams are
voted on by the sports information directors of the Southeast
Region. The region is comprised of the Conference Carolinas, the
Peach Belt Conference and the South Atlantic Conference. Members of
the first team are now eligible for Daktronics NCAA Division II
All-America honors.
The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world
