The Tusculum College Women's soccer team appears in the latest
NCAA Division II statistics, through games of Sunday, October
7.
Senior forward Tramicka James is again ranked in all seven
offensive statistical categories, and sophomore goalkeeper Marissa
Williams is ranked 35th goals against average. As a team, the
Pioneers appear in the top 50 in all five team categories in this
week's report.
James (Wilson, N.C.) ranks 30th in total goals with nine, is 14th
in assists with seven for a total of 25 points which is good for
17th in this week's rankings. Her averages of 0.75 goals per game
(33rd), 0.58 assists per game (20th) and 2.08 points per game
(20th) also place her near the top of Division II players. James is
also tied for seventh in game-winning goals with four.
Williams (Canton, Mich.) has a goals against average of 0.67 which
places her 35th in this week's rankings. Williams has allowed just
eight goals in 1,072 minutes of playing time this season for the
Pioneers.
As a team, the Pioneers are ranked 19th in both scoring offense
(2.75 goals per game) and winning percentage (.833), are 20th in
shutout percentage (.583), 26th in goals against average (0.64) and
49th in save percentage (.837).
Tusculum (9-1-2, 4-0-1 SAC), which is unbeaten in its last 10
matches, travels to Lincoln Memorial University for a South
Atlantic Conference match with the Railsplitters on Wednesday at 1
p.m.
