Tusculum College's Tramicka James was named the Tennessee Sports
Writers Association Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday
after scoring three goals with three assists in a pair of victories
for the Pioneers.
She scored unassisted in the 15th minute and added another in the
53rd minute on assists from Nikki Arthur and Amy Neltner in a 6-0
win over Brevard College at home last Wednesday. The Wilson, N.C.,
native also assisted on goals by Neltner and Taylor Lewis in the
match as well. Her second goal of the match was the 50th of her
career, making her the third player in program history to reach the
milestone.
Against Belmont Abbey, the senior netted an unassisted goal in the
fourth minute and assisted on a goal by Lewis in the 10th minute as
the Pioneers claimed a 4-0 victory.
James currently leads the Pioneers in goals (8) and leads the South
