Pioneers host "Morgan's Message" game Saturday vs. Mars Hill

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University women's lacrosse team will play in support of "Morgan's Message" when the Pioneers host Mars Hill University on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Field.

Morgan's Message was founded to honor the life and legacy of Morgan Rodgers, a former Duke University women's lacrosse student-athlete who passed away in July, 2019 following mental health struggles. Morgan's Message was created by her family and former teammates with the mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, normalize the conversations about mental health and to ensure that mental health is treated equally to physical health for all student-athletes.

The Morgan's Message Education Program supports motivated students to become active ambassadors and advocates of student-athlete mental health on their high school and college campuses.

Members of the team will provide information and resources for the community during Saturday's game, which will also include a butterfly craft table, children's games and food trucks. Activities will begin at 11 a.m.
