ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --- Tusculum University junior Reagan Padilla recorded an eighth place finish at the 2025 Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate which was held at the Golf Club of South Hampton.

Padilla posted a tournament total 222 including Tuesday's final round 76 to record her third top-10 finish of the season and the 14^th of her which ties her for fifth in program history. It was also her fourth top-20 performance of the year and 18^th as a Pioneer (T9th in TU history).

Tusculum shot a final round 319 on Tuesday for a three-round score of 970 and a 12^th-place finish in the 17-team field.

Wingate led the event wire-to-wire with a team total of 876, winning by 18 strokes over runner-up Palm Beach Atlantic (894). Rogers State was third with 900, followed by Barry (903), North Georgia (906), Erskine (910), Lincoln Memorial (915), Christian Brothers (935), Emmanuel (946), Barton (950), Union, Tenn. (952), Tusculum (970), Belmont Abbey (972), UNC Pembroke (979), King (992), North Greenville (1002) and Shorter (1025).

Wingate's Jess Brown claimed the individual medal with her even par total of 71-74-71=216, winning by one shot over teammate Amely Bochaton (71-73-73=217) and Palm Beach Atlantic's Riley Hamilton (76-69-72=217).

Tusculum freshman Maylei Hildenbrand climbed five spots up the leaderboard with her 54-hole score of 85-84-77=246 to finish 68^th overall. Annabelle Mozingo finished 72^nd with 87-84-78=249, Delfin Filiz came in 77^th with 83-83-89=255, and Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen placed 82^nd with 96-89-88=263.

Padilla's 222 is the second-lowest 54-hole score of her career and tied for the third-best in Tusculum history.

The Pioneers return to action next week (Feb. 17-18) as they compete at the Battle at Hilton Head in South Carolina.
