GREENWOOD, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team is in fourth place after day one action of the 2024 Anderson / Erskine Fall Kickoff which is being held at The Links at Stoney Point.

The Pioneers opened the day with a team score of 317 and followed with a second round 309 for a 626 total and are in fourth place in the talented 17-team field.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being co-hosted by Anderson University and Erskine College.

Greeneville freshman Maylei Hildenbrand is tied for 10^th place after posting a one-over par 73 in her collegiate debut and followed with a 77 to post a 36-hole total of 150 for the South Greene High School graduate.

Tusculum junior Reagan Padilla is one shot behind Hildenbrand with 151 and is tied for 14^th place. Padilla opened with 75 and closed out the day with a 76.

Anderson, the No. 6 team in NCAA Division II, has taken the lead with a team score of 575 including a second round 285 and leads by six shots over 18^th-ranked Wingate (581). Lander, the No. 19 team in the land, is third with 599, followed by Tusculum (626) and Carson-Newman (628) to round out the top-five.

Limestone is sixth with 631, followed by Erskine (637), Lenoir-Rhyne (642), Belmont Abbey (644), North Greenville (648), Newberry (649), Coker (652), Catawba (653), Converse (654), UNC Pembroke (660), King (662) and Young Harris (686).

Wingate's Jess Brown has the 36-hole lead following her five-under par 68-71=139. She leads by four strokes over Anderson's Kennedy McGaha (73-70=143).

Tusculum's Annabelle Mozingo is in 36^th place after post 81-79=160, while junior Lindsay Self is 57^th with 88-77=165. Delfin Filiz is 80^th with 88-85=173 to round out the TU scoring.

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
