GREENWOOD, S.C. --- Tusculum's Reagan Padilla carded scores of 73 and 74 for her three-over par total 147 and is tied for third place following day one action of the 2024 Lady Bearcat Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being hosted by Lander University and held at the par-72, 5,976-yard Greenwood Country Club.

Padilla is two shots out of the lead currently held by Supuschaya Srichantamit of Lee University, who finished with 74-71=145. Jess Brown of Wingate is second with 71-75=146, while Padilla is locked in a three-way tie for third at 147 along with the Wingate's Lauren Sutcliffe (73-74=147) and Montevallo's Kaylee Ehret (75-72=147).

The Pioneers are 15^th in the 22-team field after posting scores of 322 and 319 for their 641 total.

Wingate sits atop the leaderboard with 593 and has a 12-shot lead over second-place Montevallo (605). Lee is third with 608, followed by Lander and Limestone, who are tied for fourth with 614. North Georgia and Newberry are tied for sixth with 617, followed by Lincoln Memorial (620), Carson-Newman (622), USC Beaufort (627), Lenoir-Rhyne (630), West Georgia (631), Belmont Abbey (632), Columbus State (633), Tusculum (641), Catawba (644), Trevecca Nazarene (645), King (647), Erskine (658), Converse (659), Emmanuel (661) and Young Harris (686).

Tusculum's Anna Ahonen is tied for 42^nd place with 81-76=157 and Lindsay Self posted 81-82=163 and is in 74^th. Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen (87-87=174, T103) and Lindy Carter (92-90=182, 111^th) round out the scoring for the Pioneers.

The final round will be contested on Tuesday. This week's field includes four nationally-ranked programs including No. 14 Lee, No. 18 Wingate, No. 19 Lander and No. 23 North Georgia.
