INMAN, S.C. --- The Tusculum University carded a three-round score of 956 to finish ninth at the 2023 Converse Fall Invitational, which was held at the Woodfin Ridge Golf Club.

The Pioneers placed ninth in the 15-team tournament field on the par-72, 5,810-yard layout.

Coker University won the team title as the Cobras finished with a 54-hole total of 918 to win by five shots over Catawba (923). Newberry was third with 924, followed by North Greenville (929), Shorter (931), West Florida (932), Belmont Abbey (948), Converse (954), Tusculum, Mount Olive (961), UNC Pembroke (975), Emmanuel (976), Belmont Abbey B (1000), Young Harris (1015) and Spartanburg Methodist (1076).

Catawba's Chloe Crane and Taylor Young of Shorter finished in a tie for first place with 220. Crane claimed the individual medal by posting the lowest third round score (76).

Tusculum's Reagan Padilla tied for 14^th place with her tournament total of 74-76-82=232. Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen shot 77-83-81=241 to claim sole possession of 39^th. Anna Ahonen finished 40^th with 88-71-83=242 while Lindsay Self (81-82-87) and Adrienne O'Brien (83-84-83) tied for 59^th place with 250.

Tusculum rookie Lindy Carter, playing as an individual competitor, finished 79^th with 96-95-91=282.

The Pioneers wrap up the fall portion of its schedule and will return to action Feb. 26-27 at the Low Tide Intercollegiate in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
