ANDERSON, S.C. --- After 36 holes, the Tusculum University women's golf team is in seventh place at the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Championship, which is being held at the par-72, 5,911-yard Cobbs Glen Country Club.

The Pioneers posted a second round score of 317 on Monday to give TU a two-day total of 624.

Host Anderson is running away with the championship as the Trojans have a 30-shot lead heading into Tuesday's final round. AU posted an even-par 288 on Monday as the Trojans have a 36-hole total of 571 (-5) with Wingate in second place with 601.

Anderson holds down the top four individual spots with Kennedy Gooding leading the way with a three-under par 66-75=141, one shot in front of teammate Jessica Rathbone (73-69=142). Kennedy McGaha is in third with 72-72=144, while Kerington Lamb is in four place with 72-74=146.

Tusculum senior Nilubol Panno is tied for fifth with two other golfers at 147 (+3). Panno tallied 14 pars and four bogeys for Monday's 76. Joining Panno at 147 are Limestone's Pennie Osterberg and Hailey McLaughlin of Wingate.

Carson-Newman and Limestone are tied for third place in the team standings with 611. Lincoln Memorial is fifth with 612, followed by Newberry (623), Tusculum (624), Catawba (633), Coker (636), Lenoir-Rhyne (640), Mars Hill (699) and UVA Wise (700).

TU freshman Reagan Padilla is tied for 22^nd place with her 36-hole score of 156. Adrienne O'Brien is 36^th with 79-81=160, while Emilie Bergh-Jacobsen is 38^th with 80-81=161. Freshman Lindsay Self rounds out the TU scoring with 90-91=181.

The Pioneers will be paired with Catawba and Coker for Tuesday's final round with tee times beginning at 9:15 a.m. on the 10^th hole at Cobb's Glen.
