BLUFFTON, S.C. --- The Tusculum University women's golf team shot a first round score of 323 and is in eighth place at the 2020 Low Country Invitational, which is being held at the Crescent Pointe Golf Club and hosted by Wingate University.

The Tusculum duo of Olivia Cunningham and Hannah Brown each carded scores of 80 and are tied for 34^th place individually.

The host Bulldogs posted a team score of 297 and are tied for first place with Montevallo as both teams did not count a score higher than 77.  Wingate's Mind Puangcharoen and Montevallo's Kayla Shelton share the lead for medalist honors after each shooting 71.

Eastern Michigan is third with 298, followed by Western Michigan (299), Grand Valley State (310), Carson-Newman (315), Lenoir-Rhyne (320), Tusculum (323), Young Harris (325), Wingate B (330), Lander (337), Newberry (337), Converse (341) and Queens (344) to round out the 14-team field.

Tusculum Taylor Gransen is tied for 38^th place after posting an 81. Jennifer Keim shot 82 and is tied for 43^rd place while Yen Xuan Ong shot 83 and is 48^th.

The final round of the Low Country Invitational will be played on Tuesday.
