BRISTOL, Tenn. --- Tusculum University Jennifer Keim shot an opening round 76 and is one shot out of the lead after day one action at the 2019 King University Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is being held par-71, 5,852-yard Country Club of Bristol.
The Pioneers shot a team score of 337 and are tied for sixth place and our 17 shots behind first round leader North Greenville (320).
Keim is tied for second place with NGU's Anna Schweitzer as they are behind day one leader Jesse Dalton of Southern Wesleyan, who posted a four-over par 75.
Southern Wesleyan is in second place with 321, while Erskine is third with 331. Host King is fourth with 332, followed by Converse (336), Tusculum (337) and Emmanuel (337).
Tusculum's Yen Xuan Ong is in 13th place with an 83, while Taylor Gransen is tied for 24th place with 87. Mackenzie Butler is 33rd with 91, while Bianca Findlay shot 93 and is tied for 35th place in her TU debut.
The Pioneers will being their final round at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and begin on the 10th hole at the Country Club of Bristol.
