SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team carded a two-day score of 646, including Tuesday's 325 to finish seventh at the Converse Spring Invitational.  The 36-hole, two-day tournament was held at the 5,881-yard, par-72 Carolina Country Club.

The Tusculum duo of Ciara Rattana and Katie Tomassoni tied for 12^th place individually with 36-hole tallies of 157.  Rattana shot a final round 78 on Tuesday, while Tomassoni followed with an 80 as the two shot 13-over par.

Host Converse posted the round of the tournament with Tuesday's team scored of 309 to finish with 627 and win by four strokes over runner-up King University.  Lincoln Memorial finished third with 636, while Coker (639) and Lenoir-Rhyne (642) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.  Anderson shot 645 to finish in sixth, followed by Tusculum (321-325=646), Carson-Newman (6470, North Carolina A&T (658), Erskine (670), Catawba (671), Belmont Abbey (676), Trevecca Nazarene (676), Barton (683), Pfeiffer (691), Converse B (693), Emmanuel (696), Chowan (725) and Montreat (876) to round out the 19-team field.

TC senior Taylor Lambertsen finished 38^th with 82-85=167, while Taylor White shot 83-87=170 to tie for 49^th place. Cydney Murrell rounded out the team scoring with 90-82=172 to tie for 56^th. 

Kelsey Haun posted 89-90=179 to finish 75^th, while Trista Holder carded 109-90=199 to place 90^th, playing as individual competitors.

Tusculum returns to action on Mar. 20-21 as the Pioneers compete at the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge in Monroe, North Carolina.
