SUNSET BEACH, N.C. -- Steady rain showers caused by Hurricane Joaquin have saturated the east coast over the weekend and has forced the cancellation of the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.

The Tusculum College women's golf team was slated to compete in the two-day, 36-hole event on Monday and Tuesday. There are currently no plans to reschedule the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.

The Pioneers, fresh off their team victory at the Tusculum Fall Classic, will be in action Oct. 12-13 at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational in Salisbury, North Carolina.
