SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team finished eighth at the 2015 South Atlantic Conference Championship, which was held this week at the Sevierville Golf Club - River Course.

The Pioneers carded a three-day score of 1019, including Tuesday's final round 342.

Carson-Newman University rallied on the final day to win the league championship with 936, including 306 in the final round. Newberry College finished second with 943, while Wingate University shot 944 to finish third. Lincoln Memorial University shot 955 to place fourth, while Queens University of Charlotte carded a three-day total of 957 for fifth place.

Catawba College finished sixth with 973, followed by Coker College (1010), Tusculum, Mars Hill University (1046), Anderson University (1053) and Lenoir-Rhyne University (1070).

Ciara Rattana led the Pioneers with 82-78-80=240 to tie for 13th place individually. Taylor Lambertsen tied for 32nd place with her three-round total of 86-79-87=252. Calley Lawson shot 86-88-89=263 to tie for 42nd place.

Tusculum senior Alec Cunningham posted three straight rounds of 89-89-89=267 to finish 45th in her collegiate finale. Kelly Horrell rounded out the TC scoring with 89-94-86=269 to tie for 49th place.

LMU's Lindsay Davis captured SAC Tournament medalist honors with 78-77-74=229, winning by one stroke over Carson-Newman's Danielle Baiunco (76-79-75=230).
