SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College freshman Taylor Lambertsen is in fifth place after second round action of the 2014 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the Sevierville Golf Club - Highlands Course.

The Pioneers are in seventh place in the team competition with a two-round total of 334-351=685.

Wingate University has the day two lead with 659, including Monday's round of 334. Queens University of Charlotte is second with 669, followed by Coker College (670), Newberry College (671), Carson-Newman University (680), Catawba College (683), Tusculum (685), Lincoln Memorial University (697), Anderson University (725), Lenoir-Rhyne University (741) and Mars Hill University (756).

Lambertsen has posted rounds of 80 and 81 for a two-day tally of 161, which is four strokes behind championship co-leaders Johanna Neumann (Wingate) and Madison Kennedy (Catawba).

Tusculum senior Sara Howard is tied for 11th place with 82-84=166, while sophomore Calley Lawson is 39th with 85-95=180. Sophomore Kelly Horrell and rookie Lindsay Butler are tied for 44th place with 185. Junior Alec Cunningham is also tied for 44th with 185, playing as an individual competitor.

The final round of the SAC Championship will be played on Tuesday.
