GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Lindsay Butler has
committed to attend Tusculum College and play golf for the Pioneers
announced TC women's coach Bob Dibble.
Butler, a native of Milan, Ohio, is completing her prep playing
career at Edison High School, where she is a three-time
All-Sandusky Bay Conference honoree. She garnered All-Northwest
District honorable mention accolades two occasions and has
captained her team the last two years.
"Lindsay has a lot of talent and is a very steady player. I feel that she will be a big help to our program and should see a lot of playing time," said Coach Dibble.
Butler led Edison to a pair of sectional championships and a runner-up performance at the league championship. Edison also finished third at the District championship and posted a 10th-place showing at the state tournament.
She is an Academic All-Conference standout and was the 2010-11 recipient of the Most Improved Award.
Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference.
