GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Alex Valeri has committed to attend Tusculum College and play golf for the Pioneers announced TC women's coach Bob Dibble.

Valeri, a native of Kenosha, Wis., will join the Pioneer program in fall of 2013 following her prep career at Tremper High School. She is a three-time all-conference and all-county selection as she qualified for the State Tournament in 2011. She has a nine-hole average of 41.0 and finished fourth of 115 competitors at the Terror Invitational, where she carded a round of 78. She led her team to a 2012 regional championship, following a regional runner-up showing in 2011.

"Alex comes from an outstanding high school program and I feel she will use that competitive experience to greatly help our program next fall," said Dibble.

Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference, which is comprised of 10 colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
