
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Taylor Lambertsen has
signed a national letter of intent to attend Tusculum College and
play golf for the Pioneers announced TC women's coach Bob
Dibble.
Lambertsen, a native of Palos Park, Ill., has been a four-year
conference medalist at Stagg High School. She has a 38.1 nine-hole
scoring average and carded a career-low round of 65 at Cog Hill
Golf & Country Club. She was a sectional qualifier last season
and posted a round of 75 to finish runner-up at the Joliet Township
Invitational.
"Because of her talent and terrific work ethic, I feel Taylor has a chance to be one of the best players to participate in the Tusculum program," said Dibble.
She finished tied for 30 out of 110 player at the IHSA State Series and established a school record shooting 3-under in a nine-hole match.
Lambertsen won the Cog Hill Junior Tour event on the Dubsdread course with a round of 78. This season, she has posted a head-to-head record of 598-49-8.
Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of 10 colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
