PACE, Fla. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team posted a second round 314 on Monday as the Pioneers are in seventh place with a two-day 624 at the NCAA Division II South Regional. The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the par 72, 6,154-yard Stonebrook Golf Club and hosted by the University of West Florida.

Florida Southern continues to hold onto 36-hole lead as the Lady Mocs lead by seven shots with 598, including Monday's 296, the only sub-300 round of the tournament. Barry is second with 605, followed by defending national champion Nova Southeastern (608), Lynn (614), Saint Leo (617), Rollins (620), Tusculum, Newberry (626) and UNC Pembroke (627).

Nova Southeastern's Lilliana Camisa posted the round of the tournament with a five-under 67 as she forged into first place with 74-67=141 (-3), one shot ahead of teammate Abbey Gittings, who is second with 69-73=142 (-2).

TC freshman Emee Herbert is tied for 11th place with her two-round tally of 74-78=152. The Johns Creek, Ga. rookie bogeyed the second hole, but rebounded with a birdie on No. 3. But a triple-bogey seven on the fourth hole moved her to +3 on her round. The South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year would par seven of her nine holes on the inward nine to shoot 38 on the back.

Junior Jillian Corum carded the low round of the day for the Pioneers with a 76, including a one-over par 37 on her inward nine that included birdies at holes No. 10 and No. 13. Corum moved up seven spots on the leader board and is tied for 24th with 80-76=156.

Senior Katie Doane (Sevierville, Tenn.) is tied for 30th with her 77-81=158, while sophomore Sara Howard is tied for 33rd place with 80-79=159. Howard (Knoxville, Tenn.) started red-hot as she birdied the first two holes before taking a score of 38 at the turn. Senior Aly Pugh (Harrisburg, Pa.) is tied for 38th place with 79-82=161 to round out the Tusculum scoring.

The three low teams from the South Regional, as well as the low three individuals not on the teams advancing, will compete at the NCAA Division II National Championship in Louisville, Ky. on May 16-19 at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club.
