
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- The Tusculum College
women's golf team is ranked 20th in the nation according to this
week's Golfstat NCAA Division II head-to-head standings.
The Pioneers are also listed in four statistical team categories,
while junior Jillian Corum is listed amongst the national leaders
in par 5 scoring.
Corum, a Knoxville, Tenn. native, is third in the country,
averaging 4.95 strokes on par 5 holes this season. She is
currently second on the team with her 78.5 scoring average and has
posted six top-20 finishes, including four in the top-10.
Tusculum is eighth in the country in team sub-par strokes per round (1.53) and is 14th in birdies (106). TC is also 16th in team par 3 scoring (3.39) and 12th in par 5 scoring (5.30).
Following Saturday's match-play event against Lincoln Memorial University, the Pioneers will host the 15th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial, this Monday and Tuesday at Link Hills Country Club.
