
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- The Tusculum College
women's golf team is ranked 15th in the country according to this
week's Golfstat NCAA Division II head-to-head standings.
The Pioneers are also listed in four statistical team categories,
while junior Jillian Corum is listed amongst the national leaders
in par 5 scoring and birdies.
Corum, a Knoxville, Tenn. native, is fifth in the country, averaging 4.94 strokes on par 5 holes this season. She is also tied for 12th in the country in birdies with 25. She is currently second on the team with her 78.1 scoring average and has posted six top-20 finishes, including four in the top-10. She finished tied for sixth at this week's Lady Cougar Collegiate Classic.
Tusculum is 11th in the country in team sub-par strokes per round (1.55) and eighth in birdies (93). TC is also 19th in team par 3 scoring (3.36) and 16th in par 5 scoring (5.31).
The Pioneers return to action March 26-27 as they compete at the J. Ralph Hargett Intercollegiate.
