GASTONIA, N.C. --- The Tusculum University women's bowling team dropped Saturday's 4-1 decision to No. 3 seed Emmanuel in an elimination game of the 2023 Conference Carolinas / Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship.

The fifth-seed Pioneers lost in the Best-of-7 Baker Playoff format to the Lions who won 213-184, 159-158, 141-190, 202-175, 218-194.

Emmanuel would got onto upset No. 1 seed Kentucky Wesleyan 4-2 and advance to Sunday's championship match against No. 4 seed Belmont Abbey.
