
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. --- Two members of the Tusculum University women's indoor track and field team competed at the JDL Last Chance Invitational on Saturday.
Freshmen Kori Moore won the 60 hurdles in 8.75 seconds after being the top qualifier in prelims at 8.77 seconds. In the 60 meters, freshman Qitarah Castlin finished second in 7.76 seconds followed by Moore in third at 7.78 seconds, after the duo qualified second and third, respectively, in prelims.
Castlin also competed in the long jump and finished 15th overall at 4.65 meters (15 feet, 3 1/4 inches).
Tusculum will return to the JDL Fast Track next weekend for the South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship, which will be held March 1-2.
