ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum University junior sprinter Theresa Green-White has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 2, the SAC office announced Tuesday.

Green-White twice broke her own school record in the women's 60-meter hurdles at the VMI Winter Relays this past weekend. The Stafford, Texas native was the top seed in Saturday's finals after running 8.57 seconds in Friday's preliminaries, and backed it up by running 8.51 seconds in the finals to take first place. Green-White also added a fifth-place finish in the 60 meters at 7.73 seconds.

Green-White, the reigning SAC indoor and outdoor champion in the hurdles and a 2024 Division II All-American in the 100 hurdles, is ranked first in the SAC and in the Southeast Region in the 60 hurdles and eighth nationally.

Tusculum will return to action Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7-8 at the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Virginia.
