PUEBLO, Colo. --- Members of the Tusculum University men's outdoor track & field team participated on the opening day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship Thursday afternoon.

The Pioneers competed in the 4x100-meter relay and the 100 meters, but did not advance any runners to Saturday's finals. Tusculum's top finisher was junior Tyrell Edwards, who was 21st in the 100 meters at 10.84 seconds.

Also in action but unable to finish their respective races for Tusculum were junior Jordan Taylor in the 100 meters, along with the 4x100 relay of Taylor, senior Jarvis Barber Jr., senior Marquel Pittman and Edwards.
